BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. (March 10, 2026) – Ritter Communications, the largest privately held telecommunications service provider serving homes and businesses in the South, announces the company’s sponsorship of the 46th Annual St. Jude Radio/Cablethon, which was broadcast on Saturday, March 7th. The much-anticipated annual event raised $377,242 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, one of the world’s premier centers for the research and treatment of childhood cancer and other catastrophic diseases.
This year marked the 19th consecutive year of Ritter Communications sponsoring the event. The St. Jude Radio/Cablethon has raised over $5.2 million in donations over the past 19 years, to support finding a cure for cancer and other catastrophic illness, at no cost to patients and their families.
The Northeast Arkansas Chapter of ESA International, a community service organization, has overseen the event for several decades and fundraise alongside other community partners throughout the year to ensure the success of the Radio/Cablethon. The Blytheville ESA team is dedicated to delivering a successful and entertaining event year after year. By reaching out for local talent and highlighting the stories of local community members who are past and current patients of St. Jude, they have built a strong community following who looks forward to supporting the fundraiser each year.
St. Jude is world-renowned for its commitment to finding a cure for childhood cancer and never sending patients a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food. For this reason, the success of the Cablethon directly impacts the way childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases are treated and defeated at St. Jude.

This year’s Cablethon streamed on YouTube, allowing viewers around the world to watch. KHLS Cash Country 96.3 FM, a Blytheville-based EAB Media Group radio station, led the Radiothon airing the audio portion of the Cablethon. The programming focused on St. Jude’s impact both locally and around the world as the event solicited pledges from listeners.
