      Lifeline Program

      A Discounted Home Phone or Internet Program for Ritter Customers!

      Lifeline is a program that provides a discount on phone or broadband internet service for qualifying low-income consumers to ensure that all Americans have the opportunities connected services bring, like the availability to connect to jobs, family and emergency personnel.

      Do You Qualify?

      You may qualify for the Lifeline program if you receive assistance from entities including Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA), Veterans Pension or Survivors Pension, additional eligibility programs for Tribal lands, or your income is at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guideline AND you live in any of the following towns:

      To get started, you must apply online or complete an application and mail it to the address on the form. Lifeline is a federally funded program. DO NOT mail the application to Ritter Communications. The application must be mailed to the Lifeline administrator. Click above to apply online or click below to download the application and to view other helpful resources. If you apply online, you should see a message immediately if you qualify. If you apply by mail,  you will receive notice from the Lifeline Support Center if you qualify. The  notice will come through mail, email or phone call – whichever is selected as your preferred contact method on your application. Typically the result of your application is made known to you within three to seven business days if you select mail as your preferred contact method. After you receive notification you qualify for this federally funded program, it is your responsibility to contact a Ritter Communications customer care representative so the representative can apply the monthly Lifeline credit to your Ritter Communications bill. You will need to have a record of your approval notification from the Lifeline Support Center to reference with the Ritter Communications representative since our representatives need to know your name and address as presented on your documentation exactly to locate your account in the national Lifeline data base. If you have any questions about this process, feel free to contact one of our Customer Care Representatives at one of our convenient locations or by calling us at 888.336.4466.
