The 2019 Heart and Sole Run/Walk 5k was held in September. We love participating in this event because it raises money for great causes. We had 48 team members participate in the event. There were four corporate awards that were up for grabs and we snagged three of them — most members on a corporate team, most money raised by a corporate team and individual who raised the most money overall.

This year the Flying Walldenas, formerly televised by ABC and the Discovery Channel, provided a nail-biting stunt and tightrope show, live music was performed at the Gospel Stage and the Human Society hosted a dog show in addition to the many food and goods vendors who participated in the Butts on Broadway BBQ competition. The grant was used to provide computer equipment for the Tyronza Senior Center, and the city partnered with East Poinsett County High School to bring in students to teach senior citizens how to use the computers.

Just earlier in the week, there was just a slab of concrete and within only six days the frame was complete and the Ritter employees sheathed the home. This 1037 W.
